After 6 years of waiting, we are delighted to announce that our digital X-ray system is officially up and running in the clinic! 🎉

Having X-ray facilities on site means we can now provide X-rays directly within the practice without needing to refer patients elsewhere.
This allows us to investigate a wide range of conditions including:
Pregnancy checks
• Confirming pregnancy in dogs and cats
• Counting puppies/kittens before birth so we know when mum has finished delivering
Injury assessment
• Fractures and broken bones
• Joint injuries or dislocations
• Tail injuries
Internal investigations
• Foreign bodies (e.g., swallowed toys, stones, bones, socks etc.)
• Chest imaging to assess the heart and lungs
• Detecting some tumours or abnormal masses
Orthopaedic screening
• Hip scoring
• Elbow scoring
• Arthritis checks
Exotics and small animals
• Metabolic bone disease in reptiles
• Egg binding in birds or reptiles
• Dental and skeletal issues in rabbits and small mammals
