Hot weather update-

It is important to keep a close eye on our dogs and make sure they stay safe in the heat.

Even temperatures that feel comfortable to us can quickly become dangerous for dogs, especially during walks or playtime.
Pavements can get extremely hot, and dogs can overheat much faster than humans.

A few important reminders:

🐾 Walk dogs during the cooler parts of the day, early morning or late evening
🐾 Always offer fresh water
🐾 Check pavements with your hand before walking
🐾 Avoid overexertion and keep walks shorter if needed
🐾 Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes
🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or confusion

Our dogs rely on us to make safe choices for them, especially during hot weather ❤️
As always, your dog’s safety and wellbeing come first, and my walks may be adjusted depending on temperatures throughout the day. I will be in touch if any changes are to be made.
