All walks today are cancelled!

Poppy has bleeding from her c section wound and needs me to be with her to help with the kids.

This is the same thing that kept me off on Tuesday.

We can only both apologise for the late cancelling of walks and hope that over the weekend her healing will progress and have no further impact on the doggos walks.

Paternity leave for Camy starts as of today and he will return to walks as normal Tuesday 31st March.

We are both eagerly awaiting things getting started, to be able to welcome baby Alba hopefully at some point this evening!

Messages and WhatsApp’s may be slow to reply, as we navigate this next stage as a family.

Today we got answers regarding when we should expect little Alba’s arrival.

Poppy will be taken in to be induced on Sunday 22nd of March, but of course no idea of the time frame of how long the process will take. Last time it took 3 full days, hopefully not be as long this time.

Therefore could be a text next week for the start of Camy’s one week paternity leave commencing.

This is a full two weeks’ ahead of our actual due date and is to ensure both her and Poppy are nice and safe.

Any questions, just fire Camy over a WhatsApp and he’ll respond accordingly.

This time next week baby girl could be in our arms 💖.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful clients!

At our appointment on Tuesday we were told that at our next appointment (17th March) we will more than likely be given a date for induction. They don’t want Poppy going beyond 38 weeks, therefore that’s a 6 day window of when we will be attending for induction.

As soon as we know the date, we will let you all know!

Our priority is the safety of baby Alba and Poppy and ensuring they’re both well looked after, and thankfully that’s the same for the PRM staff too.

We know it’s not ideal not being able to give a time for when Camy’s leave will be starting (it’ll be one week), but baby’s don’t tend to stick to a fixed schedule. We can only hope that the induction process won’t be as lengthy as last time and that we can hopefully avoid a NICU stint too.

Her and Winston had a ball today and now will be walking together every Wednesday!

Love when you can open a dogs circle in a safe and fun way.

We found out late on Friday evening that Poppy has obstetric cholestasis again, she had this when pregnant with River.

She is still awaiting one set of bloods returning, and will get more bloods and a liver ultrasound on Friday, to determine best course of action.

She has an appointment on Tuesday with the diabetes team and will have another growth scan too.

Walks will continue as normal with Camy, unless stated otherwise and everyone would be contacted directly in that case.

This is obviously twinned with her gestational diabetes will ultimately lead to induction again. As we know more and get a possible induction date, we will keep you all informed.
