🟢Laminitis Awareness🟢

Spring time is often associated with an increase in Laminitis cases. This can be due to not only lush high sugar grass, but also hormonal changes through diseases such as Cushing's or Equine Metabolic syndrome (85% of cases can be attributed to this).

If you think your horse is suffering from, or likely to suffer from Laminitis prevention is better than cure! This little info series goes through signs, diagnosing tools, and treatment of Laminitis.

🚨 Horse Rescue Success! 🚨

We recently teamed up with the Fire Brigade and a specialist Animal Rescue Unit from Painshill and Esher to help an elderly horse in need. Mr Darcey had gone down in his stable and was then unable to get up on his own. With careful coordination, and use of their specialist equipment we safely pulled him out and used a specialist winch to lift him.

Thanks to the combined efforts of everyone involved, he stood on the first attempt and is now back on his feet, doing well! 💙

A huge thank you to the amazing rescue teams for their dedication and expertise—this was truly a team effort! 👏🐴 We are incredibly lucky to have this resource for our clients to use in times of need.
