With firework night coming up here is some helpful advice to help your furry friend cope, just remember ROCKET 🚀🚀🚀

R - reduce external noise, turn the TV or radio up/on

O - occupy your dog with toys, games or a long lasting treat

C - calm and quiet behaviour should be rewarded

K - keep calm yourself as your anxiety can transfer to your pet

E - environment, think about the environment around your dog, create a safe place, close the curtains etc

T - tire your dog out earlier in the day

Giving your dog clear boundaries and being consistent are fundamental for training.

Here I have used a physical boundary to teach them to stay out of the kitchen when I'm cooking (I don't mind them watching though 😊)

Today is the day I've been waiting for!! Received my City and Guilds Level 3 dog grooming certificates and passed the whole course with Merit!! 2 years at college is finally over and SO worth it!! Beyond happy!! ☺️
