Hey everyone. I hope you are all well! I have been back to work the last couple of weeks. The back seems to have healed up quite well! Swimming really does work wonders! I am currently working Wednesdays and Saturdays at the moment. So if anyone is needing their dog booked in, send me a message.

For the time being, I am only sticking to small/medium breeds. Putting my back out was a big signal that my core strength just isn’t totally there yet so I just need to be mindful of my body while I’m working until I’m fully recovered.

Because of the limited working days, I won’t be able to fit everybody in just yet. I will work up to it eventually. I just need to wait for my daughter’s funding to kick in until I can add another day onto my books.

Apologies for anyone who has messaged the end of last year/beginning of this year that I didn’t get back to. I was just a bit overwhelmed with all the different tasks I had to do. Finally finding my routine again now!

Hi everyone I have been easing myself into work the last couple of weeks and was slowly making my way through your messages however I’ve managed to put my back out on friday morning and have a trapped or damaged nerve going from my lower back to my hip. Unfortunately grooming requires me to be in a stress position quite a lot and these are movements and positions that are really painful right now. If your dog is in need of grooming in the next 1/2 weeks I would recommend trying another groomer as I can’t say for sure when it will be better. I started swimming yesterday in the hopes of working it out and strengthening my core again. I just can’t run the risk of pushing through it, doing more damage and putting myself out for longer/not being able to pick up my daughter.

Hey everyone I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Years! I’ve had quite a few messages over the holiday period and I was a bit busy with all the festivities and having family down.

I was hoping to be back to work properly in January but I think I was totally overestimating my own capabilities now the time is here 😂 I have my yearly house inspection at the beginning of Feb and tax returns to do before the end of Jan so in the brief moments of time I get to myself I need to focus on these tasks first otherwise I’m going to completely overwhelm myself.

Also after looking into it the last couple of days child care is extremely expensive at £8 an hour as she isn’t entitled to any funding yet so when I do get back I am going to have to work around family members to babysit to keep the cost down as much as possible until she’s 9 months old when she gets 30 hours a week which means I’ll probably be only working part time until then.

I do apologise to disappoint everyone as I know I was saying I’d be back at it in January. She was much less demanding in my belly 😂

After my taxes/house inspection I will be back to work part time in Feb so please bear with me a little longer.

I’m still on maternity leave and not doing full grooms however happy to do nails if pooch is desperate. I’m doing a couple dogs tomorrow morning so if anyone else is in need for nail clipping let me know 😊 (only small breeds and poochies that are good with nails as I only had the c section 6 weeks ago so at this current moment in time it needs to be easy on my body)

My earliest availability is currently the beginning of June but I am on holiday between the 10th-22nd so please bear this in mind when booking in your pooch for a groom as at this moment in time I’m going to need as much notice as possible to be able to fit them in.
