Hello! A quick reminder from the gorgeous Nell & Bella that we are closed on Bank Holidays throughout the year, as normal. So no walks this coming Friday & Monday for Easter 🐣

Today is HIE Awareness Day & we have been fundraising for Hull NICU & Peeps, the UK’s HIE charity.

Together with Stud Farm Country Club for Dogs we have managed to raise a whopping £340 from our walks & daycare today. Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts!

We do still have raffle tickets available. The raffle will be drawn next Friday 11th April. Please message me if you’d like to buy tickets! A list of prizes can be found on the daycare page.

Edited to add: the lovely Jo at Glamourised Hair & Beauty has kindly donated a voucher for Gel Polish/Builder Gel for us to add to the raffle prizes 💅🏼 Stud Farm Dog Walking 4th) is HIE awareness day, we are donating some of our takings from daycare & Stud Farm Dog Walking to Hull NICU & Peeps, the HIE charity.

Very kindly, a couple of our customers have donated prizes for us to do a raffle & hopefully increase our fundraising efforts!

Emelia & Rebecca at Bugweed’s have donated THREE crafty prizes (cushion panels, a knitting pattern book, and a crochet kit) and Kate at avocado_events has given us a gorgeous doggy hamper!

Raffle tickets are £1 a strip and all proceeds are going to the two charities mentioned above.

We will pick out the four lucky numbers next Friday 11th April. Please get in touch!

NEXT FRIDAY - APRIL 4TH - FUNDRAISING DAY

4th April is H.I.E Awareness Day, a day close to our hearts at Stud Farm.

H.I.E is a type of brain injury which occurs when a baby’s brain doesn’t receive enough oxygen or blood flow around the time of birth. As some of you know, we had a difficult time when Sully was born last summer, and he suffered an H.I.E event at birth & subsequently spent time in Hull NICU receiving special treatment.

On Friday next week, we are going to donate 50% of our takings to Peeps, the UK charity which supports those affected by H.I.E, and the other 50% to Hull NICU, who do incredible work & ensured Sully made such an amazing recovery.

We do have some availability still for Friday 4th! So if you’d like to book a walk & support two fantastic causes, then please get in touch. As ever, thank you all for your continued support 🐾

As we head towards the end of our final working week of 2024, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support this year!

We feel incredibly lucky that we get to call this ‘work’, and we wouldn’t be able to do it without each & every customer. 🐾

On behalf of Liv, thank you for the cards & gifts at this time of year. It really means a lot!

And speaking of Liv, I’d like to thank her for all her hard work. She’s out in all weathers, giving the dogs the best walks possible, and she does it all with a smile on her face 🩷

I am awaiting delivery of the presents I’ve bought for all the dogs from us both - I’ll be delivering them at some point over the festive period as soon as they arrive!

I’ve had a gorgeous morning out & about with these 3! Not as flooded as I feared, and still plenty of places for them to run around whilst avoiding the very fast river (much to Coby’s disgust! 😝) 🐾 Time for a cup of tea now! 🫖

I will be doing a Winter Adventure Walk on Friday 6th December.

📍 Where?
The Beningbrough Loop (river level permitting - I’ll have a back up route just in case!)

⏰ What time?
Pick up will be between 9 & 9:30. Drop off will be between 11:30 & 12.

🐶 Who’s it suitable for?
Sociable dogs who are reliable off lead. I need to have walked your dog previously! Sorry, no new clients.

💰How much?
£22 per dog or £40 for two dogs from the same household.

🐾 Limited spaces - please message me directly to book.

I’m looking forward to being back out n about with some four legged pals!

Today was my last walk for a while with Luna & Echo 😢 Luna was one of my very first regulars, way back when I started dog walking more than 5 years ago. It has been a pleasure to spend so much time with her & Echo - they’re both such happy, easy dogs ❤️ I will miss them while I’m off, as will Fizz! But we will look forward to seeing them again in a few months time.
