We're on the road to nowhere!! Not in Scotland, not in England - couldn't make up its mind!! Had a great time at Carter Forest, just me and Billy and Mum. It didn't rain either.

Well, Mr Billy said we would go on the big circular walk, but thought he'd better start with a smaller walk first to check his hips were up to it!! We didn't need to take the van and started off from the house, across the bridge and did the small circular walk through woods, fields and across a suspension bridge - boy did it wiggle but I wasn't scared. Another great walk and it didn't rain. Mum came too of course!

At long last, the promised walks of the area have started. Yesterday, Mr Billy dropped me and mum off at Birkenside and we walked the back road over the hill to West Morrison. I was on an extending lead for most of the time which was really good as I didn't know where I was going. We went through a few fields then too a path to Grizziefield. Mum put me on a halti (first time) just in the nick of time as a rabbit shot out from the hedge then through the steading. I'd have been away chasing it if I had my way. We then went down the road and onto the Earlston to Gordon main road. There were no pavements so it wasn't very easy. Mum took me right up the high street and across the A68 to come home. I was so pleased to see Mr Billy again. It was a really good walk with lovely views of the surrounding area. Pictures not very good but you can just see the black hill and the Eildons - if you look closely!! Next walk is hoped to be the big circular around Earlston with Mr Billy.
