Best thing you can do for your dog right away?

●Stop pointlessly throwing that ball●

Instead, do this...
~ Hold your dog, throw the ball, wait for them to calm down - don't let them just shoot off! once they start using their minds, ask them to find the ball.
🤔Why?

*This exercise is brilliant to slow the impact that typical ball throwing has on your dog's joints!

*It can help with engagement, and if you want to up the level, you can teach your dog impulse control to the point where they'll wait for your cue to find the ball without you holding them back.

🐝 mindful that this exercise can be really tiring as they use their brain, their nose, and their perception skills.

You can make it trickier once they know the game by throwing it in taller grass/bushes or not letting them see where the ball lands.
