3 June 26. Not closing just taking a breath!
We can no longer afford to take in any rescues at this time with the cost of living and other demands on households there are no donation income, with the small kind amounts paid in from our supports monthly, helping to maintain the long stay residents in the kennels. Once we have got clear of our outstanding bill's we will revaluate our position.
The staff who are all self employed understand we are not able to find wages out of thin air & have helped by doing odd days as volunteer.
Yes our long term resident still need walking and caring for so volunteers are still needed and welcome to help care for our aviary birds and tortoises and cats.
After 25 years this is a difficult decision but we will be caring on in one capacity or another. Meanwhile the fundraisng campsite that has kept us going for the past couple of years will hopefully help clear our outstanding bills (fingers crossed)
Our vet service is still operating as normal Tuesday and Thursday by appointment by appointment for clinical and surgical appointments. 01745-571061
