Shared by one of our friends - her young daughter’s journal of her trip to Scone International Horse Trails.

Robin judged her daughter at a local show a couple of weeks ago and she made a special effort to go and watch him in action at Scone and even shouted some encouragement as he trotted past 😁.

Her dream is to show at Scone one day and we know she’ll do a fantastic job when she does.

Lovely day yesterday at a very sunny Perth Show, always one of our favourites of the summer.

Just West Lodge McNair who enjoyed being back out in the ring standing Reserve Champion in hand and Champion under saddle 🏆🏆

He’s looking super thanks to Kayleigh’s hard work and care. He’s just loving the ridden job.

Another super Banchory Show done and dusted for another year.

Always a busy day for us but it’s a pleasure to see people enjoying a show which is such an important part of the Deeside calendar.

With Robin still recovering from a broken shoulder, we decided just to take West Lodge Alby and her foal. Alby still loves a show at the age of 19 and her filly mainly behaved at her first show😉.

It was also a pleasure to take West Lodge Rowan into his class for Susie who was juggling working and showing yesterday. Rowan is out of West Lodge Alby so it was lovely to see generations in the same ring.

Red ribbons all round and Rowan stood Reserve Champion🏆taking it all in his stride.

Well done to everyone out and about enjoying their horses, cows, sheep and dogs yesterday 🫶🏻
