I’ve been very away from instagram and the animals lately since Athena’s passing, and am wanting to return shortly. I’ve been a quiet reptile mum these past few weeks but each day is getting better and I thank you all ever so much for all your love
On other news, Haiko (the one pictured) and Maple has shed, and Haiko has came out for 2 choice based handlings this week which is very rewarding for both of us. Beau my 1cm Red knee sling has moulted to maybe about 1.5-2cm, a Pip my Florida jumping spider moulted into i6. I upgraded alot of the spiders, including my wolf spider Otis and Indian ornamental Corio, and everyone is doing well. We did unfortunately lose 2 millipedes, 1 bumblebee and 1 Ghana speckled, both found in the water bowls.. I did have rocks in both setups, but it’s one of those things that happens, and will make a more incline based pathing in case they are to fall in, but it’s unknown why they did so, as the surrounding substrate is always moist from the water spitting from the filters so it’s a little confusing. But all other millipedes in the vivs are thriving! I did also become ill last week, so have been dealing with a lack of a voice too which is always fun 😆 I do have lots of photos and updates the share, including a 3k giveaway too as a thank you.
