Marcel giving new year same me vibes this morning, yawns and yoghurt noses 😄🥰
His first session of the year involved laser therapy, acupuncture and some gentle massage work to manage his lumbar discomfort and arthritis. It’s a difficult life being the worlds most perfect kitty 🐱 🐾

As we step into a brand new year, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible community we are honored to support. 🐾✨

This past year reminded us that progress is built on patience, trust, and showing up. Every small victory, tail wag and every moment of progress matters. Recovery is never a straight line and it takes a team: compassionate care, committed owners and pets who give their best in their own time. We are proud to be part of each journey 🩷

To our clients thank you for trusting us with your pets who mean everything to you. Your dedication and love play a powerful role in their progress. As the new year begins we remain committed to providing support, comfort, confidence and quality of life. Whether your rehab journey is just beginning or continuing we are here to support you every step, stretch, and milestone along the way 🐾

Here’s to a new year filled with healing, hope and new adventures. Thank you for being part of our rehab family, we are excited to grow and meet even more wonderful pets and their humans in 2026🩷

Happy New Year from all of us @ Pawsitive Relief 💙🐶🐱

Bringing you some gentle plods from our queen Bronwyn! It’s only Bronwyns second time on the treadmill and we’re taking it easy to make sure she feels confident and safe. She has been doing wonderfully and we are taking a leaf out of our patients’ book, twixmas has us realizing they might just have better routines than we do. Fresh air, regular movement, zero stress. We’ll be attempting this lifestyle shortly (no promises). 🐶👀

We hope you’ve all had a relaxing Christmas break and if you’re still in the festive limbo where time has no meaning, you’re in a chocolate and/or cheese induced delirium and your pets assume Christmas rules are permanent, we’re just checking in to wish you and your furry chaos noodles a safe, happy in-between week. 🎄🐾 Feel free to show us all your festive pics of your pets in the comments 🥰

Door 10 🚪 ♥️ In memory of our pets who have passed 🐾
Today we are remembering beloved pets who have passed this year by donating a Christmas meal to a homeless dog in their honour.
A small act of kindness, inspired by big love. 🤍
To ensure we can manage this properly, we’ll be capping donations at 50 meals. Once we reach this number, we’ll update this post.
Thank you for helping us turn remembrance into kindness this Christmas. 🎄

Good morning everyone! 3 sleeps to goo! Were all big kids here🎄🧑‍🎄 🫢
Just an update on our operations over the festive period. It is Emma’s last clinic day today, Danielle will be working tomorrow and then we will be closed for new appointments until Friday 2nd Jan. The ever majestic Harley was back for his pre Christmas therapy session! We love this long boy (and we had to go landscape to fit in all of his fabulousness) 😍
As you can see, Harley is demonstrating for us perfectly that acupuncture treatments can be super relaxing for our pets and more often than not results in a nap! He received a needling session to help with lumbar discomfort followed by a relaxing laser session and as always was a tremendously good boy🩷

This is super important and ahead of our pool opening it’s vital we consider each patient and their suitability based on their individual needs… 🐾

A physio assessment prior to swimming is crucial as it tells us what we need to know about your dogs mobility and if there are any concerns that could potentially be exacerbated or worsened by free/fun swimming. Identifying a mobility deficit or pain doesn’t always mean no swimming allowed, it may mean a medical swim is more suited to your dog, or further rehab support can be provided. Either way we will be able to offer you a service that fits their needs, and most importantly is safe 🐶 🩷

Myth: “Swimming is always safe for arthritic dogs.”

FACT: Hydrotherapy can be brilliant, but uncontrolled free swimming can flare pain, especially in dogs with poor core strength or spinal arthritis.
