Hello!
It's been a while. Sorry about that. Needless to say the last 18 months has been incredibly challenging for anyone, everyone! As the holiday industry slowly picks it's self up off of the floor we took the decision to have some time out and rethink where we were heading as a business.
I've absolutely loved running Pucks Rest for the last three years but things change and the challenges of the last year have meant that as a business we needed to rethink, survive and thrive.
Luckily I'm pretty good at taking giant leaps into the unknown and with that in mind we decided to close Pucks Rest, the bar and Cafe.
Very often in business what seems like the end of the world can often be a doorway to new opportunities.
I'm fortunate enough to have watched numerous entrepreneurs, businesses and friends get up, dust them selves off and create new revenue streams over the last year, and with that inspiration I've launched Wandering Icons and created a new space for families and friends to enjoy on the West bay.
Pucks Rest is dead baby, but we're back and better than before. We've completely redecorated 54 Victoria Parade. New bathrooms. New windows. New kitchen. The place is looking amazing! A big thank you to everyone that's turned up, helped and supported the project over the last very busy 7 weeks, you know who you are.
We're available to book on exclusively.
Victoria House is an eleven bedroom, self catering unit. Sleeping 22 with the best beer garden (with whirlpool bath) available for hire.
We're already almost completely sold out for the summer 😳
