We have checked with our insurance company and at present we are unable to take on any dogs on the DDA list. If this changes we will post an update.

If you have an XL Bully type dog (or think you might do) you will need to be up to speed about the new laws coming in on the 31st December.
There will be one or two things you need to have in place. Essentially, you will need to apply for a Certificate of Exemption, ensure your dog is microchipped and neutered, have third party insurance, and ensure they are kept in a secure place. You will also have to keep your pup on a lead and have them wear a muzzle in public.
XL Bully is not a fixed breed as such, but if you are unsure if your dog comes under the government's definition of an XL Bully type dog, it is probably best to assume they are and apply for the Certificate, once details of how to do so are released.
