It is estimated that arthritis causes up to 60% of lameness in horses. This statistic is quite high! But isnโ€™t unbelievable as our horses are large, powerful beings that are often asked to be as athletic as they can be.

There are many different avenues we can go down in managing an arthritic horse, many with successful outcomes and some not so much.

Red light therapy helps stimulate collagen & the production of collagen as well as stimunlating an influx of red blood cells to the affected area. It also helps with circulation, cell repair, reduces inflammation & pain.
