𝐇𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭, the nephew of Bluegrass customer 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭 on being crowned Champion Apprentice!
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧 is also having a superb year. Well done to all family and friends involved!

Huge congratulations to Gordon Elliott and his team on winning not only the American Grand National at Farhills Race but going on to win all 5 races on the day.

🍂🐴 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀!
Their little “helicopter” wings may look fun, but for horse owners they can be a real danger. 🌬️

Sycamore seeds contain hypoglycin A, the toxin behind atypical myopathy (sycamore poisoning). This serious condition affects muscle function and energy production — and can quickly become life-threatening for horses. 💔

✅ To reduce the risk:
🔹Regularly check pastures for seeds & seedlings
🔹Remove fallen seeds and mow saplings in spring (toxin remains even after cutting)
🔹Provide plenty of forage & avoid overcrowding

With a few extra steps, we can help keep our horses safe and healthy this season. 🍂❤️

Today we bid farewell to Adam Short after nearly 4 years with Bluegrass we wish him all the very best on his next adventure. Likely our paths will cross in the future.
