UPDATE: Update from Laura 2pm. - As flags are up and the military are firing all day and into midnight, they have allowed me to search while being escorted. We have searched all day so far but no luck. I will update as soon as I can. hopefully with good news!
Update March 2nd - Bella is STILL missing :'(
**BELLA MISSING FROM LIGHTHOUSE IN BARRY BUDDON**
UPDATE- 01/03 19.35- We have been told my the people that oversee buddon that they will be shooting all day and we will have no chance to look for her. My best bet is to phone the head of the MOD for buddon. If anyone knows this person please make them aware of how scared we are for her at this point and that we have tried all the usual tricks we NEED their help at this point. We will not leave until we find her. No search planned for tomorrow but I will be parked up all night in the camp and hope she comes back to the spots she knows.
2nd update from family. 13.00
Bella was spotted in buddon near where she was taken in car yesterday. I had placed a blanket there in the early hours of this morning so this may be keeping her here but she has been spooked and has ran off again. Unfortunately as we can’t get into this area we are just waiting in cycle path to see if she shows up again. We are going to try a bbq with bacon on it for smell see if we can get her back over this way.
At the moment we are just waiting until 4pm when we can get back into buddon. I will update before then with any news. She isn’t responding to her name being shouted so maybe best just to hunt for her.
The good news is she didn’t appear hurt to those who saw her. Thank you all so much for all your help so far ❤️
7.00am UPDATE FROM FAMILY
For anyone wanting/able to help. Myself and partner are heading out as soon as it’s light to search again. We have to be off of buddon by 8.30 am as they are shooting today. If you are able to help it would be beneficial if you could check Carnoustie golf course, Monifieth golf course, Carnoustie beach, Moni beach or broughty Ferry beach. She is used to walking on moni & broughty beach so if she’s trying to get home she might be there. Have contacted team at barry buddon and they have not spotted her or would have got I contact. We will be searching buddon until 8.30am.
Also thank you so much for all the help we have been given so far it has not gone unnoticed and we are just focusedUnder her safe and well.
