I’ve taken a much longer leave of absence than I originally anticipated. I packed up my resin/dice station due to inadequate work space and began doing art work for home decor/wall art instead and that has been going well. Unfortunately, we had to vacate our flat for a couple weeks before our new build home was ready so I’ve had to pack away all my art supplies into storage so no new art work has been made. I’ve kept the box reasonably accessible within storage and my Etsy store open so that I can continue posting out completed art if required, however haven’t been pushing sales as everything is just much more awkward at the moment with my current living situation.
To top it all, our new build was delayed ONE WEEK before entry, INDEFINITELY. As in, they’ve built it wrong and now remedial work and/or new plans have to be completed and signed off. So I cannot provide any information or dates as to when the shop will be at full capacity again. I’ll be unable to create new dice, new art work or finish off the raw dice sets I have without a proper work space and no supplies and I can’t give even an estimate on how long that will be.
For a new small business, this is crushing. As a human being, living in a semi homeless situation, this is devastating.
In the words of Grog Strongjaw, “I Would Like To Rage”….
