NEW GEAR ALARM 🚨
At this year's we're introducing 5 new working dog products to our range. First to be announced is the Protector Neoprene Vest Light from Non-stop Dogwear.
With Realtree MAX-7 camo, this fully adjustable, close fitting vest is designed to protect and support working dogs in challenging conditions. From barbs and brambles to heather rash and repeated water entry/exit. Just in time for the season!
Launching on the Track & Trail Stand at the North East Dog Festival on 22/23 August - Available in store and online straight after. Full measuring and fitting service as standard.

Training Vests ❤
Coming to see us at this year's ? We're bringing a load of great training gear - including a huge range of gundog goodies and a fresh restock of the excellent Winslow training vest from Sporting Saint so you can come along and try them on. This is the one I wear and I absolutely love it.
Pockets galore, an extra big back pocket with waterproof lining and drainage holes for all your minging training gear - plus a whistle pocket so your Acme doesn't take a dip into a poo when you bend over to pick it up.... it's a whole thing.

OOP Here it is.... 🤩 Our July round-up. Here are our top 5 products for the month of July (this is based on sales and not me just picking my faves)
5️⃣ A strong newcomer at number 5 is the Twiggy Tags comfort collar - we've had this in stock over 18 months and it's the first time in the top 5! Very well deserved and now in about a thousand colours...
4️⃣ In at number 4 is another hit for Twiggy Tags with the classic Adventure Harness 2.0 - high adjustability, a grab handle and a neck clip make this a super versatile everyday harness so we totally understand the popularity.
3️⃣ Back in the top 5 this month is the Acme Alpha dog whistle - probably my fault because we ran super low on stock for a while but we are back and you can hear us from miles away! 211.5 remains the most popular choice amongst T&T customers.
2️⃣ A VERY close competition for the top spot this week saw the Twiggy Tags Multiway taking 2nd place. A regular feature in our top 5 just because it's so damn good!
🥇 Our winner for July - my favourite harness - The Ruffwear Flagline. We couldn't get these fitted fast enough at P in the Park and they're always a strong favourite for in-store fittings. A well deserved winner.

Everybody be cool 😬 Here's the FIRST and probably biggest of our Announcements for 2026!
We are VERY excited to be joined for the whole weekend by Lois and her team from 🤩 We've basically given them half of our tent to play with so expect all of our usual range of Twiggy Tags gear - which we adore - and a few extras too!
The Twiggy Tags team will be at Track & Trail all day Saturday and Sunday of this year's North East Dog Festival with more strength tested goodies than you can shake a half-chewed stick at. We sold out of multiway leads and longlines on day 1 at P in The Park so we'll try and bring a few more with us.....
We'll have all our other gear too - but plenty of posts on everything else coming your way over the next couple of weeks.

If you've got the weekend free on 8/9 August then why not go and check out The Galloway Country Fair at Drumlanrig.
Galloway Gundog Association will be running their fun gundog scurry on both days and it's open for any dog to go and have a go! A brilliant thing to try your hand (and paw) at if you've never had a go. Or even just go and watch the scurries and their working tests over the weekend to see what it's all about.
Max won't be having a go this year due to his little broken toe but I'm putting in a dummy throwing shift so hopefully see some of you there!

We are delighted to be running the Gundog Scurry again this year at the Galloway Country Fair

Our First announcement - We're VERY excited to be going back this year to the awesome on the 22-23 August at Kirkley Hall, Northumberland.
This year we're very proud to be sponsoring the Gundog Scurry Activities! Keeping it on theme, we'll be taking an EXTENDED RANGE of our gundog training gear from some of the UK's most trusted brands.

Nothing pleases me more than a healthy longline restock! And these ones are the absolute bees knees 💪🏻
We now have 10m, 5m, matching grab handles, collars and leads back in stock in the awesome Twiggy Tags Tidal Waterproof PVC range.
The best longlines on the market - I’ll fight anyone on that claim! Waterproof, soft on the hands but also quite grippy, detachable and optional handle, strength tested, locking, swivel carabiners. They don’t twist or tangle and they don’t get heavy, soggy or smelly.

Whilst Max is in the vets getting fixed up - we have some exciting news! Our OFFICIAL 2026 T shirts are open for pre-order!
Yes again, we've ordered with our fave small business in the North-East - .little.t . Jen does all of our staff uniform and did our first run of army green T shirts last year which sold out super fast! We never do the same shirt twice so if you like it - grab it! Black goes with everything right?
These are 100% cotton and incredibly comfortable! This is exactly what you'll see us wearing in store and at shows and we can personally vouch for the quality of both the garment and the print - I'm still wearing the ones I bought over a year ago and they're good as new!

Customer Announcement 😔 We’ll be open later than usual tomorrow so that Max can go to the vets to get his paw checked out. He’s a very unhappy guy right now.
Please don’t come to the shop before 11am at the earliest!
I will also not be available for messaging or emails at this time but will do my best to get back to everyone as soon as possible.
Max still finds the vets extremely stressful so I imagine he’ll need to be sedated for this.
