Good job Max and I enjoy swimming because I've been looking at the obstacle list for this weekend's Ultimutt and I can't help feeling like we might be getting soggy at times....

We're out and about again this weekend with the shop! Come see us this Sunday at the Ultimutt!
Lucy and I are running in the 9am wave but once we're finished, we'll get the shop open for you and all your dog gear! There's going to be food, hot drinks, Traildog Merch, Non-Stop Dogwear and all sorts there for you to browse as well as our stand so please come say hello!

SORRY FOLKS - We'll be CLOSED EARLY on Saturday because we're off to take part in the Ultimutt!
The shop will be open on Saturday from 10am until 1pm - after that we need to close to pack up the van and head over to Newcastle.
Heading to the Ultimutt? Lucy and I will be there to set up the shop and camp on Saturday evening and we're both running with our dogs, Max and Badger, in the 9am wave!
After we've got dry and sort of clean, we'll open the shop so that everyone can come and bag themselves some sweet dog gear, treats for those mutts and vetbed to keep your cars clean on the way home.....

Coming to the Ultimutt this weekend?
We're going! Both Lucy and I are running in the 9am wave (so we can tell you how great it is) and then we'll be opening the stand and setting up shop for the rest of the day!
We'll have all of our awesome Hi-Vis and safety lights as well as coats, vet bedding, harnesses, collars, leads, longlines, treats, gundog gear and whistles and EVERYTHING.
Be gentle with us though cos we might be a bit bruised after our run!

How did I get into canicross? It was actually suggested to me by a friend as something to do with Max when I first adopted him last year. I really struggled to find any clubs locally so learnt what I could online and then just went out there and gave it a go! Max was an absolute natural and luckily for me, he absolutely loves it!
It's been a great sport for us and has been hugely beneficial for my mental health and his reactivity. It also tires us both out so what's not to love!
It's a thing we do together, as a team - and while we may not be the fastest or most professional athletes out there, it doesn't matter one bit! Canicross has been the most encouraging and welcoming community for me and Max and I cannot wait to run at some more events with my buddy this season.

We'll be at the starting line of the 2025 Traildog Ultimutt! a 5km obstacle race for canicross running with your dog.I am so flipping hyped for this 😂 Max and I are running in the 9am wave then, provided we make it back in one piece, we'll also be there all day with the Track & Trail Canine Show Stand!
Pop in and see us before or after your run! We'll have all your fave Ruffwear, Twiggy Tags, Gundog Gear, Whistles, Vet Beding and accessories - plus very likely a few bruises.

Do I have a favourite dog harness? Actually yes.
If Ruffwear ever change their Flagline Harness, it will break my little harness-loving heart.
I love everything about it - and if you're looking for a supportive, comfortable, lightweight harness that's suitable for pretty much every activity - then you can't do much better than this.
