Looks like we had Australian dogs back at the weekend trying to dig their way home.

Seriously please make us aware immediately if you find a large hole in the field. Its a danger to a fast running dog and to be frank owners should not be letting their dogs do this kind of thing as it leaves a hazard for the next customer.

Whether your dog did it doesn't not matter to us, but the safety of the dogs does. Always take the time to let us know about hazards we can only repair what we know about.

The worst of storm David seems to have passed but as usual the polytunnels are ripped to shreds and other damage needs clearing up. I have new ones in the shed but until the wind settles I will not fit them. May be on Monday it will be back to normal. Also delayed finishing potholes road will start again on Monday.

We managed to get some Mulch delivered today and I have immediately put some down around the entrance which has become very muddy. I hope it stops raining and it gives time for the mulch to do its job and stabilize the area. I have more to put down in the field but I'm soaked trying to get the gate area down this evening.

Also one side of the road pot holes filled and started on the other side should be finished this coming weekend. Thank you to our customers for bearing with us.

Just found a way to try to better manage the entry gate and common area of the field. I am arranging to get mulch delivered which I can put down in the worst areas to try to stabalise the muddy patches. just be patient I only thought about this after chatting with other national field owners.

So another gentle reminder to pick up your furry friends poo in the field. Another customer had drawn our attention to the fact that our standards have dropped. Please help us maintain a feild clean of dog poo. Im going to add more poo bins to try to help make it easy for owners as I know the feild is very muddy during the winter season.

Also apologies on the road repairs I did start but my little tractor blew a tyre yesterday and am waiting on a replacement to resume filling the holes on the road.

Just to let our customers know road repairs have started. Take a few days to complete at weekends. Should stabilise the road for a while.

Also to let you know in these muddy times you can shower your furry friends with the garden hose just by the garage door. As long as its not freezing I will leave the tap on so you can wash your furry friends before getting in to your car.

We have been trying to get what's called Plainings to repair the road. Unfortunately they are not available in the area. So reverted to Type 1 rubble which will work but is lees durable than plainings.

Should have the work started this weekend apologies for it taking as long.

Fellow fur baby owners, one of my friends had a heart breaking loss of her beautiful baby. We are trying to raise funds for baby Belles head stone. She deserves only but the best. Belles story is in the link. Let’s give her mummy and family some peace and surround her with love.

A few small updates weather has been bad a lot of rain and ice so stay safe. Happy new year to you and your furry friends.

Coffee machine has broken down I think an internal pipe has burst with the ice. I have a new one comin in the next couple of days.

One of the poly tunnels has completely disappeared during the storm so new one is on order.

Im ordering more materials to repair the road just will take a couple of weeks.

We have been informed by a customer that they were getting calls to their home phone number confirming bookings. We have removed the home phone number to prevent that from happening as they already get messages to their mobile. Could anyone else who has suffered from this over communication please let up know and we will resolve it for you.
