🔊⛱️☀️ Today marks the first of the summer holidays. As I work from home you may encounter the toothless terror prowling the property. Approach with caution as snacks are limited, the word boredom is banded about and possible sights of excitement when mum is due to finish work. My hours will be reduced during this time so please get in quick to secure your appointment. Thank you for keeping me so busy and good luck to all the other households during this long and trying time of summer holidays. We have got this guys ✌🏽💪🏽❤️ ☀️

HEATSTROKE is a MEDICAL EMERGENCY! Fortunately, now more and more professionals are communicating the same message!

Whilst the need for rapid cooling with COLD water (1-15°C) has been recognised for decades in equestrian and human medicine, the dog world has lagged behind, and very poor information still circulates. e.g. "cool the paws", "cover with wet towels", "avoid cold water as it will cause shock"

THE KEY MESSAGES ARE............

"WET THEN VET"

"COLD WATER IMMERSION" (1-15°C)

Dogs die of heatstroke because they were NOT COOLED QUICKLY ENOUGH, NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE COOLED!

PLEASE SHARE - Spread accurate information; potentially save a dogs life!

Afternoon folks. Just a polite reminder to please not darken my door if you suspect your furry friend has fleas. A massive telltale sign.......scratching. I am a small family run business and if your dog comes in with fleas I then need to flea bomb my pod, clothing, equipment and rearrange my bookings which then means loss of earning as the area needs treated and aired to allow a nice clean flea free space for the next dog coming in. Please during the summer months check over your dog for these creepy little critters even if you treat your dog. If I get half way through a groom to find the little buggers then fluffy will be sent home half done and full payment will be charged. The mullet will be on you. Thank you 🐶
