🐎 Safari Day Ride - This Sunday 17th May 🐎
The best time of year to ride!

Due to a last minute cancellation we now have some availability to join one of our famous Safari Day Rides this Sunday 17th May! The bluebells are still out - here are some clips from our day ride on Wednesday featuring Yappa, Ludo, Ethan and Angus ☀️ - we even saw the Exmoor ponies and their foals!

Stunning scenery, beautiful Bluebells, perfect temperature, crystal clear rivers and wild Exmoor pony foals. Ride is for experienced riders that canter in open countryside. Give yourself a treat and join our Tarr Steps Day ride, or any woodlands and moorland rides in May!

MEET THE HORSES 🐎

⭐ Amadan ⭐

Meet the newest member of the Pine Lodge team! We have had Amadan for a few months now and he has really settled in well, he has been heading out leading rides and one of our regular riders had the privilege of riding him yesterday where he was a superstar 🐎☺️ He has the kindest eyes, and is so nimble over the Exmoor terrain - he has taken to it like a duck to water…

We can’t wait for our riders to meet him properly!

🐎☀️ SAFARI DAY RIDES ☀️🐎

Our famous Safari Day Rides are back! Now that the weather is improving, and the days are getting longer we are really looking forward to riding over Exmoor and stopping for some lunch on the way 🥪

Please keep an eye on this post as we will keep it updated!

Our day rides are for experienced riders only, confident controlling a forward going horse at all paces over a varied terrain ⛰️ We ask for riders who haven’t ridden with us before to have an assessment ride prior to a day ride - if this is not possible a decision will be made at our discretion to ensure all riders and horses have a super day out ☺️

The Winter was long but Spring has arrived on Exmoor and we couldn’t be happier 🌸🐎 Fresh air, open moorland, and happy horses ❤️ The days are getting longer and the skies are getting brighter ☀️ it is a perfect time to book in a ride!

We are heading into the Easter holidays and are starting to get booked up⬆️ please get in touch to avoid disappointment! 🗓️ We also have a few spaces remaining on our Children’s Easter Pony Day on Wednesday 15th April (details on website)🐣

Such a magical day from start to finish celebrating the year of the fire horse — amazing ponies, great riding and even some fun with tangrams alongside the pony dress-up (which is always the highlight) 🐴❤️

Yes… we are posting this slightly later than planned — clearly we run on “pony time” not human time 😂
