‼️DOGS DIE FROM HEATSTROKE‼️

I’m genuinely shocked at the amount of dogs I’m still seeing walked in this heat, a woman passed me earlier with a French Bulldog whilst my van temperature read 30°C 😩

PLEASE STOP WALKING YOUR DOGS IN THIS KIND OF HEAT

Instead try;

🐾 Enrichment games at home
🧊 Frozen Lickimats
🕵️‍♂️ Snuffle mats
🧠 Teach a new trick

⚠️Signs of heat stroke include;

Excessive panting
Drooling
Vomiting
Collapse
Shaking
Lethargy
Seizures

‼️REMEMBER‼️
No dog has ever died from missing a walk but they do unfortunately die from heatstroke.

Meet Teddy, the Cavapoo 🐶

When Teddy first came to me, he was quite anxious about grooming—especially when it came to the dryer. It was clear that the noise and sensation made him quite uncomfortable, so I took a slow, tailored approach to help him feel more at ease.

By switching to the lowest setting and removing the nozzle to reduce the sound, Teddy gradually became more tolerant. Brushing is still something we’re working on, but with gentle handling, reassurance, and a few tasty treats, he’s making super progress.

We still have a long way to go but I’m confident we’ll get there together 🥰

I’m incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic pack—it’s taken time, patience, and thoughtful pairing to build the groups we have today, but seeing them thrive together makes every moment worthwhile. 🐶
