Dig out those muddy rugs while the sun is shining…..turnouts wash and reproof with nikwax £15 …I do not charge extra for necks and combos…£10 stable rugs fly rugs etc….if I can double up then that saves you some money. Repairs I keep as cheap as possible and anything big I quote on. If I can be of help then please just message me….. thankyou to everyone keeping me busy…..don’t forget the drop off at Animates pet shop, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham. This repair wasn’t as easy as it looks! ‘‘Twas a challenge all right” but it’s now done ready for pony to trash again no doubt! Really busy which is keeping me well out of mischief. I am extremely grateful to the weather of late as it has made drying rugs much easier…..Prices remain the same and the drop off at Animates Pet Shop for everyone around Cheltenham / Cotswold area is really popular. I have a few fly rugs for sale if anyone is looking …these 2 are both 6’9”…first one I’ve repaired the front buckle area and it is an equestrian king…the other just needed a few small patches and it has no make. Both in very good condition and useful to keep as spares. £15 each..can be picked up from Wigpool or at Animates pet shop Charlton kings Cheltenham. Please message me if interested. Many thanks, Sue

Something a bit different.. combo rug needing to change to a separate neck. My hours of recycling trashed rugs is worth it as had exact same webbing in my stash! 5 more sleeps till Santa visits….but i reckon I could pop a few extra sleeps in….no one would know?! It has been an extremely busy year for Wigpool Horse Rugs and a huge thankyou to everyone who has let me loose on your rugs. I’ve seen some wonderful artistic rip designs from naughty ponies but only one I had to admit defeat with…..So….Merry Christmas all and Happy New Year when it arrives….give all your ponies a carrot from me as without them what would I do??? I do have some lovely stable rugs for sale but will post them after the new year……take care and thankyou again…Sue x

I pulled this rug out of its bag in 3 pieces! played about with the jigsaw puzzle and it’s now whole again ( for now anyway) …to say I have had a busy spring/summer is an understatement so thankyou to everyone for being patient with me getting rugs back to you all. I’m still busy but pressure is off a bit!….prices remain the same as usual and i do try and double up smaller rugs where I can. All repairs are different so if any thing big I quote on before hand. I am getting quite a few equidry type coats in to wash so now I have the special reproofer for them….i was well chuffed when I tried on an XS and it fitted!! If I had one I would have a huge XS printed on the back!! Take care everyone and you know where I am in an emergency….Sue x

Once again I am so busy I keep forgetting to take before and after pics!! The weather we have been having is very weird to say the least…one day so hot then the next back to Baltic! and the ponies confused as to being naked one day and trussed up in their winter woolies the next!
Prices remain the same ….turnouts wash and reproofed ( nikwax) £15. I do NOT charge extra for necks and combos…stable rugs £10. I try hard to double up fleeces fly rugs, numnahs etc to save you some money where I can. All repairs are different so quote on any I think will be expensive but there again try hard to keep costs down …. Thankyou all for keeping me busy …..Sue x

Something a bit different ….a little girl comes with her mummy often to Animates Pet Shop to bring rugs for washing and she always has her pony “ oats “ with her ….so Dai ( hubby) measured up Oats for a wee rug and asked me to make a turnout …..I did my best and even gave the rug a crap flap to keep oats bum warm…..can’t believe it fits and one very happy young lady. Stable rug next me thinks….Suex

A couple of the repairs I did last week….I wont dwell on the atrocious wet winter we have had except to say ….please bring me your muddy soggy rugs before you forget about them and they set like concrete!!! Prices remain the same …turnouts ( including necks/combo) wash and reproof with nikwax £15, stable rugs (including necks/combos) £10….fleeces, fly rugs, numnahs etc as many as I can fit in the machine £10. Repairs I quote on to keep them as economic as possible. Drop off for Glos/chelt area Animates pet shop Charlton Kings…Dai brings them home every evening and when I have finished he takes them back to the shop….i do the quickest turnaround possible… you can also drop rugs off to me here in Wigpool 7 days a week ….many thanks to everyone for keeping me busy……Sue x

This rug is so “ME”…..I’ve been a shepherdess most of my adult life so was thrilled to repair it. It didn’t need washing as the damage was done on the first time of wearing so pony hadnt had time to wallow in the mud!!
I have some lovely rugs in for sale, from 4’9” up to 6’9” stables and turnouts. All washed reproofed ( turnouts) and all wee repairs done if needed so ready to use.
