Permapigs Small, hobby herd of rex, Californian and pet guinea pigs. Promoting the highest standards of animal welfare. They are so helpful in growing their own veg!

We keep our sows in a free ranging family herd and our boars always have company too. We keep our pigs as naturally as possible, based on permaculture principles. We are establishing a line of rex and funky, Californian pets. We also have crested and roans.

Guineas are best put in outdoor runs in the morning or early evening for a while, in the shade, with plenty of hides and water.
Remember to introduce fresh spring grass gradually too, to avoid upset stomachs.
