Bella’s barn terms and conditions 🐶
Please note any dogs attending an appointment @ Bella’s barn are in agreement with these stated terms and conditions .
Missed or cancelled appointments -
Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged at 50% of your grooming fee .
No shows will be charged 100% of grooming fee this also includes automatic appointment cancellation from Bella’s barn due to you being more than 10 minutes late to your appointment .
Late - due to needing to keep to designated time frames for each client you will only have a 10 minute grace period , unfortunately lateness of 10 minutes or more will be automatically result in your appointment being cancelled and a charge of 100% grooming fee will be owed .
Booking request - when booking an appointment please note bath and blow dries and full grooms for each dog has different time slots therefore when you book I will ask what you would like your dog to have done , if you then decide at the appointment that you are changing it the original price will still be charged . For example a dog booked in for full groom but then is changed at time of appointment to a bath and blow dry will still need to pay the full groom pricing.
Behaviour - please note that all dogs are cared for and under no circumstances will I push a dog to be groomed if it shows signs of distress or uncomfort . If this occurs during grooming I will contact you and we can discuss the issue further . If the bahaviour is aggressive or something I think I can not accommodate then I will not re book your dog .
If a dog is aggressive and you have not notified me prior and I need to stop grooming then this would be a chargeable appointment .
Personal information - no information given to me will be passed on to anyone or any other businesses.
Fleas - please make sure your dog is up to date with flea and tick treatments , if I find any signs of fleas you will be notified and the dog will not be able to come back unless treated .
Matting - any dog coming in with knots will be clipped off , no dematting here !
Matted coats - if your dog has a completely matted coat (this is where you cannot part the fur and see the skin) then I will not groom them . This is due to underlying problems that are not visible due to the matted hair . For example irritated skin , rashes or lesions , flea infestations and general discomfort to the dog . Matting can be highly uncomfortable to the dog and can cause high stress levels whilst clipping, I will always recommend veterinary advice in this situations. If you arrive to your appointment with a matted dog that I am unable to except then you will still be charged . If you want advice on a matted dog or if you’re unsure whether your dog is classed as matted please feel free to arrange an initial meet with me and we can discuss your options .
Payments - payments must be made at the time of your appointment. Cash and card excepted . Card payments incur a £1 transaction fee .
December bookings - 2025 will have a 50% non refundable booking fee for all December bookings . If you have block
Booked then I will contact you in October for payment .
