Had the best day looking after these gorgeous Labrador puppies. We’re so excited to be welcoming one of the girls into our family in a few weeks time ♥️

Ive been lucky enough to walk mum from when she was a pup she is a such gorgous gentle girl from great working lines and dad is an assistance dog so temperments of these pups will be golden! Fully health tested and KC.

We are utterly heartbroken to say we lost our beautiful soul Dexter yesterday.

I have been so lucky to have him as my best friend for the past 9 years. Made of 100% love, the best furry brother to my babies, their favourite place to sleep was in the Labrador armchair while using his ear tip as a dummy! Happily sharing his home with over 50 of your beautiful dogs, gently puppy mentoring them into the gorgeous dogs they are now.

We will treasure our memories of our adventures together. Our home and hearts feel so empty without you ♥️

Licking releases happy endorphins which comforts your pooch and eliviates stress. Licky mats are a great activity right now when your pooches routine may have changed. At daycare we also use them to bring energy levels down before our lunchtime snooze.

Start easy with cheese spread, xylitol free peanut butter, or wet or raw food and freeze for a longer lasting option. Other favs with the daycare dogs are raw tripe, scrambled egg, tuna and sweet potato. For a more hardwaring option for the chewers you can freeze slow feeder bowls ♥️

There’s not many better things to focus the mind and relax a pooch than a stuffed kong. I absolutely love it when they close their eyes and loose them selves in the zone!

Some of the daycare teams favs are...
cream cheese or peanut butter, tuna and kefir, sweet potatoes, salmon oil and a little grated cheese. But you can use wet or raw food, banana, any thing that’s tasty and safe for your dog. Dexter’s fav is puréed left over roast dinner!

Start easy by smearing something super tasty, then when they’ve got the idea you can freeze to make them last longer.

For safety is important to use the right sized kong for your dog and too make sure you keep the air hole free so there is no danger of tongues getting stuck. I freeze with a straw inserted.

Want to entertain and exercise pooches and kids when you can’t leave the house? Try a game of hide and seek great for practicing recall too!

Start in one room so your dog can see everyone. Call your dog too you and give a treat, then get someone else to do the same while you change your position. Once you pooch has got the hang of it then you can do the same around your house, changing your hiding spot when the other person calls.

And while the kids are busy you can sneak off and hide away from your family, my favourite lockdown activity ❤️

Pooches going a bit stir crazy? I know I am! Why not put all those delivery boxes to good use by sprinkling tonights dinner into them? Using their noses and brains to sniff out the prize will tire their brains and make happy, chilled dogs! You can make it harder by wrapping in paper first or closing boxes so they have to rip the boxes to get inside, start easy and get harder as they learn ❤️

This is a lovely enrichment activity to tire your pooch but it does needs supervising to ensure they don’t eat the cardboard!
