So we get a lot of clients with larger breeds saying they struggle to walk there dogs on a basic flat collar due to no control etc ..I wanted to post this video of belle ( my personal rescue dog ) who I’ve put a lot of work into ..this is my sister who struggles to walk without crutches daily ,walking belle ..yes it’s not tidy I’m aware of this but belle was in new surroundings and isn’t used to my sister without sticks,my sister had full control and belle was happy to do as asked ..please excuse the talking ,we just wanted to show that large breeds can be trained just as well as smaller breeds etc

Well I wanted to test belle today seeing as I was working all night and so she was super excited to see me and to be out ..so I left her to own devices and walked off out of sight and tested her recall ..not bad considering I’m half asleep and belle has the attention span of a Nat at times lol 😂 🐶

So today myself and Charlotte Brisband did another session with max (gsd) so due to being a herding breed he has a fixation on horses to a point he ended up being kicked (fractured skull etc ) so he’s lucky to be alive and his owner struggles to walk him round the horses ..today was about correcting that behaviour on lead before moving onto off lead work ..I will upload some videos and pics 🐶

So here we have the gorgeous max ( 2yr old Gsd ) whos become abit of a typical two year old and has lost his manners and boundaries in the home and is becoming over stimulated towards the older resident spaniel in the home which is leading to fights ..me and my colleague Charlotte Brisband have been asked to step in and assist …here’s a quick video yesterday of max doing basic obedience after only being handled by myself for ten mins ..he’s very eager and wants to please 🐶🐶🐶

Belles heal work as improved so much without the need of the pinch collar and is now happy just on her flat collar and nice relaxed lead 🐶
