Yesterday morning didn't start quite how I planned.

Stood in the kitchen with a cuppa, when one of our trees decided to drop a bit of itself onto the road. Summer branch drop doing its thing. 🫣

Massive shout out to Leigh from Yorkshire Flyscreens who turned up minutes after it happened and got stuck in helping us clear the road!

Thankfully the road is a fairly quiet single track. So we grabbed chainsaws and got to work clearing it. No before picture - just the piles after the road was cleared.

Also Shout out to Paula and Ian for turning up with a forklift to move the biggest branches!

At least we'll have some firewood to store for next winter.
