Dear Clients,
As some of you may be aware, the Magpie Centre W.N.R.D.A. has announced that it has received the all-clear from its veterinary team and is now planning to reopen.
I very much welcome this positive news. Having also spoken with the owner of Wallington Hall, I am pleased to announce that I have moved back home onto the Wallington Hall Estate this weekend.
I am confident that my return to the estate does not pose any risk to my clients' horses. To reiterate my previous statement, I do not provide any farriery services to the W.N.R.D.A. and have no contact with their horses, staff or volunteers. I also intend to continue avoiding areas of the estate used by the W.N.R.D.A. for the foreseeable future.
Finally, I would like to thank you all for your continued confidence, understanding and patience during this time. It is very much appreciated.

💥Important Client Biosecurity Update💥

Dear Clients,

On the evening of Friday, 26 June, I was informed that a horse at the RDA facility at Wallington, where I reside, has been diagnosed with Strangles. The horse was a recent addition to the RDA and had been kept isolated from the resident horses.

Although I do not provide farriery services for the RDA, nor am I involved with the charity, its staff, or its volunteers, I believe it is important to keep my clients fully informed due to my proximity to the premises. As a precautionary measure, I have temporarily moved off the estate and will not return until the situation has been fully resolved.

Biosecurity is something I take extremely seriously. I have implemented appropriate precautionary measures and remain confident that I am not at risk of carrying or transmitting the disease. Nevertheless, I will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow all recommended biosecurity protocols.

As your appointments approach, I will contact you directly to discuss the situation and address any questions or concerns you may have.

This is an ongoing situation, and I will provide further updates should any information arise that may be relevant to my clients.
