🥵 IT’S HOT 🥵

I am very lucky to now have a very powerful wall mounted air conditioner 🧊

However, If you feel you cannot get your dogs here safely, whether thats because they do not travel well, you’re travelling a long distance, you walk here, your dog is old or has health conditions, please contact me to rearrange your appointment.

Keeping everyone safe and happy is always my top priority.

If any dog comes in showing any signs of heat exhaustion you may be turned away.

Keep your dogs as cool as Dory in front of her favourite fan 😆

Remember no dogs have ever died from missing a walk, but dogs do die from one walk in the heat.

🎀🩷 Charlie-Bears Dog Grooming is officially 6! 🩷🎀

It’s no secret that the past year has been by far the hardest. Both personally and professionally, I’ve faced challenges I never thought I would. Yet somehow, we’ve come back stronger, happier, and more determined than ever to keep making this dream that I had 6 years ago a reality.

The one thing that has never changed is your support. Without every one of you backing me every step of the way, believing in me through every change, I wouldn’t still be here doing what I love.

I am so incredibly grateful to those of you who have been with me since the very beginning, and equally grateful to everyone who has joined the journey along the way. Every kind word, every review and every recommendation never goes unnoticed.

At the start of this year, I was nervous about starting again, but I kept telling myself it was going to be a special year and I was right.

So here’s to another year of growth, learning, challenges, achievements, and plenty of wagging tails. Another year of doing what I love most🥹🤍

We have something important to tell you all…

Someone needs to tell Dory she is no longer the youngest of the family 🎀
Someone needs to tell Murphy he has another sibling to raise 👶
Someone needs to tell Margot she’s got someone new to train to throw her ball 😆

We are so excited to finally tell you all that we are expecting our first baby this October 🥹

I know you all probably have so many questions so I am going to try answer them all-

🍼 Baby girl is due mid October and I plan to be working up until October 10th. A week before her due date all going well! (Maybe just few dogs in a day over the last couple weeks!)
🍼 I will be taking a very short maternity leave to make sure I am back ready to get everyone looking beautiful for Christmas!! Hopefully I will be back by no later than November 30th!🤞🏼
🍼 I will be changing my working hours when I return (days, times etc to be confirmed) to fit in with my boyfriend’s work shifts and childcare.

I want to reassure you that nothing around here is going to change. I will make sure to continue doing what I love but maybe just a tad slower for the first time in 6 years😆

My diary is currently open until the very beginning of October so it would be super handy if we could get everyone booked in advance over the coming weeks. Once I have figured out a set return date I will update you all and reopen my diary for the remainder of the year and into 2027!🩷🎀

I will be closing my books to new dogs very very soon so if you wanted to join the Charlie-Bear family please do get in touch 🫶🏻

It feels good to finally say that out loud 😅
