Barnabas and his little sister Essie, my favourite partners in crime!! 🐕🐕
Barnabas was one of my first clients so I have been treating him for 2 whole years next month!! When I first saw him he could no longer get up on the sofa or go upstairs due to severe arthritis in his hips and knee, but with our fortnightly appointments using therapeutic ultrasound, massage and stretching he has been able to do all these again and maintained the ability to this day, at the grand age of 14 1/2 (15 in June!)
So glad i’ve been able to help this lovely lad ☺️

This is sweet Nora, rocking her new ZenDog physiotherapy bandana!!
I have been seeing her for the last month for back pain and discovered she also had really tight hamstrings. She was unsure at first about the ultrasound machine but the last two weeks she has completely relaxed into the process and lays down chilled out for the whole session! She is absolutely adorable and the sweetest girl 🥰

This gorgeous boy is Rupert! Today we had our second session and he was an absolute star ⭐ He is only a year and a half old but as you can see he went from his usual bouncy excited self to snoozing peacefully from his back massage!

Poor Rupert was hit by a car back in October, fortunately no bones were broken and he has made an incredible recovery so far! He has very tight hamstrings and gracilis muscles, which is limiting the range of motion of his hindlimb, so we are working on releasing the tension with some heat, ultrasound and massage!

His owner has done great work with getting him doing exercises and massage in between sessions and I can already feel a difference! He is having alternating physio with me and hydrotherapy to get his strength and flexibility back!

Huge thanks to all the lovely people and dogs I’ve worked with this year! Treated more than double the amount of dogs this year as last year and it’s been so rewarding helping them all!

Also wanted to do a little tribute to the two lovely doggies I have treated that unfortunately passed away this year- gorgeous girl Paws and handsome boy Jack 💔

And I am very excited to announce I have been training in Dog Grooming the last couple months and will be finished in a couple of weeks. I really want to extend the ZenDog ethos to give dogs a better and calmer 1 on 1 grooming experience.

Look at Izzy go!! Had to update on this lovely girls case, she is finally getting control back in both hindlimbs and is taking steps!! And her paw knuckling reflex is back on both sides now! She is still a bit uncoordinated but it can take some time for the strength and gait pattern to return as she has been off her feet for around 2 months now she is having to relearn to walk.
We are on week 6 of physio and making amazing progress!!
