Lucy's adventures After losing her 13 years old devoted Labrador Evie in January 2021 Lucy the Yellow Labrador was adopted by Alexandra in May 2021.

Lucy adopted in 2021.From a cruel life chained up in Greece, a former reactive dog to a calm therapy dog.also on this page memories of Evie, Christian thoughts .Alexandra, a retired Salvation Army Major, hopes this page inspires readers and helps you. Lucy was chained up in Greece and had a traumatic journey across Europe and is now safe with Alexandra, she is perfect in the house but a reactive

dog on walks towards other dogs and Alexandra is trying to help her overcome her fears and anxieties with help from professional trainers. It is not for the faint hearted adopting a reactive dog and can be costly although Alexandra was unaware she was reactive when she adopted her , it was a shock especially after owning a very gentle dog but Alexandra wants to help Lucy feel calm around other dogs in time. Evie was one of the longest serving therapy dogs in the UK and was awarded with many achievements and was a comfort to many people and a blessing . Lucy can not be compared and has many lovely qualities too. Alexandra lives on the South Coast of England and shares videos and posts of her area. Alexandra became a Christian at the age of 18 and her life took on a new direction , she is a retired Salvation Army Officer with the rank of Major and completed 33 years service with 18 appointments in various places in the UK. Her work included community work and being in charge of Salvation Army Corps/Churches and she was aa Chaplain to the sea cadets and the first female minister chaplain/padre to the ATC, it was a dedicated life and a calling from God and on this page she shares Salvation Army posts and Christian thoughts and tries to help and encourage others. Alexandra loves animals and people and she shared a very close bond with her late mother who went to heaven aged 102 in 2016. I hope the page inspires you and gives you hope and brightens your lives and helps you . Lucy has overcome her frustration and fear of other dogs and is friendly and playful with them after a year which is an answer to prayer.
