🐾 “How often should cats be fed when you’re away?”

Honestly? It depends on the cat — but routine is everything.

Most adult cats are fed:
• Twice a day (morning & evening)
• Or small portions throughout the day

When I’m cat sitting, I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine — same times, same amounts, same bowls.

Changes in feeding can cause stress (and upset tummies 🙈), so consistency really matters.

I always confirm:
✔️ Portion sizes
✔️ Wet/dry mix
✔️ Treat allowance
✔️ Fresh water every visit

Your cat doesn’t just get fed — they get their normal rhythm. 💛

When you hand over your keys, you’re handing over trust.

I take that seriously.

From secure key handling to double-checking locks and sending updates, everything I do is designed to protect your home and care for your cat.

Because peace of mind shouldn’t be optional.

What owners really worry about when they leave their cat…

It’s rarely just “Will they be fed?”

It’s more like:

• Will they feel lonely?
• What if they think I’m not coming back?
• What if they hide the whole time?
• What if they don’t eat?
• What if they’re stressed and I’m not there to notice?

Cats are independent… but they’re also deeply attached to their people and their routine.

That’s why when I cat sit, I’m not just popping in to top up bowls.

I’m watching behaviour.
I’m noticing subtle changes.
I’m keeping things calm and predictable.
And I’m sending updates so you can actually relax while you’re away.

Because peace of mind for you = a settled cat at home 🐾

If you’ve ever felt that little pang of guilt closing the front door… you’re not alone.

Slow blinking is a cat’s way of saying they feel relaxed and safe around you.
If a cat slow blinks at you, try doing it back- it’s a quiet way to build trust 🤍

Cat Sitting Tip 🐱
Cats don’t always show stress in obvious ways.

Some signs I keep an eye out for when I’m caring for them:
• Hiding more than usual
• Changes in appetite
• Over-grooming
• Litter tray issues
• Sudden behaviour changes

Stress in cats is often subtle — those small changes matter.
