We were called out at 10pm last night to a Barn Owl found in the road, just outside Seaton. They had put her on the side of the road but when we got there we couldn't find her anywhere. 40 mins later we spotted her in some brambles. It was dark so lucky to spot her. It took about 15 mins to finally get her out. We took her straight to Coombefield Vets and we then examined her to find she had a broken wing. A sad ending but it would of been far worse if we hadn't of found her 😕 😪😭😢😥

The weather is glorious and we are having a great time up at Vurlands Animal Farm and The Eggcup the kids are loving the park/birds so come and visit us. Look at this brave little chap 😀

On the 18th to 21st April, Mr Aluco will be making a flying visit to Vurlands Animal Farm.

But who knows when or where he might appear, it's up to you to look out for him, have your picture taken with him or even give him a big Owl hug. 🦉🦉🦉

Picked up this Barn Owl last night, very weak and only weighing 7oz, he's incredibly weak and it's not looking good for him 💔

Hi everyone, after allowing our birds to settle in, we can now announce that we are fully open at Vurlands Animal Farm. Dates and times can be found on our website.

We would like to thank the amazing family, Steve, Nicky, Tosh, Karl, Abbi and Jess that run Vurlands for allowing us to join their wonderful Animal Farm. They all work so hard and put so much effort in making Vurlands the wonderful place it is today. Thank you for your patience, friendship and help, Matt and I feel priviledge to be part of an amazing place for families to visit.

During the summer we will be offering lots of events and updates will be put on our face book page.
