Show Centre Our facilities are available for hire for shows and rallies.

LOCOG approved as Pre-Olympic & Para Olympic Training Camp for the 2012
Olympic Games, our top-class equestrian centre offers superb facilities,
a welcoming atmosphere with efficient, friendly and experienced staff and a range of well-schooled horses and ponies that will enable you to realise your true potential. Facillities include Indoor Arena, 62m x 26.5m,
an Olympic Size Outdoor Arena, 65

m x 65m; Cross country course,
viewing gallery, show office, 2 classrooms and computer suite. We are a friendly, approachable yard with a very positive attitude to attainment
and achievement. We can help you train towards many qualifications as we are an NVQ training
provider and BHS 'Where to Train' centre for all exams up to BHSI. We also run Further Education courses

We are a competition centre for British Dressage and British Showjumping and
we run as well Unaffiliated Dressage and Show jumping every month. We look forward to welcoming you to the centre and provide a unique

We will be offering SJ course hire sessions in our outdoor arena on Sunday 14 September. £35 per 1hr session, which covers up to a max of 4 horses. The course will be open between 09:00 and 17:30. 📌 September's Clear Round is on a Friday evening (12 Sept)
📌 September's Unaff SJ is on a Saturday (13 Sept)
📌 September's Unaff Dressage & Quest is on a Saturday (20 Sept)

Not got enough time to keep your horse in full fitness? Need help with the day-to-day care routine? Looking for a cost-effective livery option whilst still maintaining access to facilities? If so, we can help! 😀🐴
For just £55 a week, we will take full care of your horse (7 days a week) at our well-equipped BHS-accredited yard, with a first-class quality of individual care and an engaging, consistent routine. On Working Livery here at Kingston Maurward, your horse will be exercised during the week, under the watchful eye of our highly experienced instructors, ready for you to enjoy riding in the evenings, at weekends, and during the college holidays. Other Working Livery benefits include:

Entries are now open for our Autumn Fun Show on Sunday 5 October! 🥳🐴 You can enter online via Equo Events up until Thursday 2 October. However, we would recommend entering sooner rather than later as classes often fill up quickly! All classes cost £8 to enter in advance, £10 on the day if space.

Please note that horses/ponies and riders/handlers must be at least three years of age, due to our insurance policy.

We will be running another fun show on Sunday 5 October! 😀🐴🏵 As normal, the schedule will feature a range of classes, both in-hand and ridden. This will be an informal, supportive show with emphasis on fun and having a go! Newcomers to showing welcome! Entries will open soon, online via Equo Events. We will also be accepting entries on the day, but we would encourage you to pre-enter to avoid disappointment as classes often get booked up!

It has been wonderful to see people making use of our XC course throughout July 😃🐎 Just a reminder that the course is available over August as well and bookings can be made online via Equo Events. Discounted prices available for Riding Club / Pony Club bookings. The course has been built to BE standards and features fences at 80, 90, 100, & Novice.

There is still time to enter next weekend's dressage events here at Kingston Maurward. We will be running Quest Club Dressage (AM) and Unaffiliated Dressage (PM) on Sunday 20 July. Entries for both are open until midnight on Tuesday 15 July, online via Equo Events.

NEW FOR SUMMER 2026 - PONY CLUB & RIDING CLUB CAMPS AT KINGSTON MAURWARD!

We are excited to announce that, for summer 2026, Kingston Maurward Equestrian is able to host Pony Club and Riding Club camps! Make use of our excellent equine facilities, including indoor and outdoor arenas and British Eventing cross country courses (80, 90, 100, and Novice). Set up camp in our stunning parkland estate, with space for tents and caravans/horseboxes – or use our on-site accommodation for a more luxurious option (subject to availability). We will be running double show jumping next weekend! 😃🐴 Clear Round (20cm-90cm) on Saturday 12 July and Unaffiliated SJ (50cm-1.00m) on Sunday 13 July. Entries for both are open until midnight on Wednesday 9 July, online via Equo Events.
Both events will be run in our outdoor arena. The Unaffiliated classes are now split into horse and pony sections. There is also an opportunity to qualify for the 2025 Junior Battens Final at Melplash Show 🏵🏆

We’ve had a fantastic weekend here at Kingston Maurward, running our 2025 BE Horse Trials! (a bit hot and sweaty for pack-down today! 😅)
A big thank you to all our wonderful competitors for coming out and supporting the event, hope to see you all again next year! It was lovely to see spectators enjoying the action as well. We are hugely grateful to our fabulous title sponsor, Andrews plant hire and haulage, for their extremely generous support and it was super to see Dan win some silverware as the highest placed local rider from the 90 classes!
It takes an army of volunteers to run the event, without whom it would not be possible, so a big shout-out to everyone who gave up their time to help, hope you enjoyed it! Many thanks also to our officials and judges for supporting us in our second year as a BE venue.
The team here at Kingston Maurward have worked tirelessly over the last few weeks (make that months!) and we are very proud to have put on a jolly good show once again! Feedback so far has been amazing, which is absolutely lovely and so rewarding.
