Dorset Equine is a 100% equine practice with a highly experienced team of vets with a broad range of expertise and professional interests.

We provide routine and emergency veterinary care for all types of horses and ponies across Dorset and South Somerset. We have a purpose built equine clinic with surgical and hospitalisation facilities at Whitcombe as well as fully mobile diagnostic services.

Busy here at Whitcombe today with 2 visiting specialists - Ollie Crowe - orthopaedic surgeon and Dicky Hepburn - internal medicine specialist.
They are both off to Badminton Horse Trials next week as treating vets for the duration of the event 🙂

𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐄𝐈 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
It is now a requirement for all horses competing under FEI regulations to have their vaccinations recorded on BOTH the FEI HorseApp and on their passport. All vets must now log vaccination details directly into the FEI HorseApp at the time of vaccination.

𝐓𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞:
💙be prepared to allow our vets to perform a full clinical exam of your horse at the time of vaccination
💙have your horse’s passport ready to be signed and recorded
💙download FEI HorseApp and set up your account prior to your appointment
💙enter all previous vaccinations into the FEI HorseApp before your appointment
