Manny & Blondie enjoyed a few hours out on the grass on Friday evening once the rain had stopped, we also welcomed 4 previous boarders back for another long weekend stay with us 🥰

I had a busy morning carrying out show prep on 4 gorgeous piggies for our lovely friend Jane who has entered her pigs into the Dorset County Cavy Club show on Saturday 6th September.

Fitzroy & Winston are here to stay whilst their owners are on holiday, it was lovely to welcome them back and to see how they have developed as mum & dad at Majestic Cavies bred them and have kept their sister

It’s a very busy time for me here as I am at full capacity with my boarders:
Here is Williams herd of 10 who within an hour of going out in the run had mown the lawn so well I now need to move the run so they can carry on enjoying their grass time ☺️
I also have 2x sows of Koni’s staying and 2x of mum & dads home bred Lunkarya boars of Laurie’s back for a holiday with us so with 14 holiday boarders plus all of our own piggies it’s non stop here at the moment as I am also preparing my own pigs for the Dorset County Cavy Club Show on 6th September AND the Real London Show on the 13th September 🤯

Mannie & Blondie have come back to stay with us for another holiday, they have such lovely personalities and are so friendly 🥰

It’s great having a piggie fridge but it’s in the back porch so in the winter I will get soaked going round to get the veggies 😆
(It’s actually inside the porch not outside but we can’t access the porch from inside the house)

Who else has a “Guinea Pig” fridge?
This isn’t full but with our own pigs, Tia’s pigs (Compton Cavies ) and with the boarders who are currently staying this little lot will last a day maybe 2 at a stretch!

Today our 6 piggy (2x trios) boarding guests went home after a 2 week stay, they enjoyed a complimentary spa pamper session each as well as lots of love and attention (and lots of treats) 🥰
We can’t wait to have them stay again over Christmas and New Year
