Compton Cavies

24/10/2026

Between Compton Cavies & Majestic Cavies we have 7 sow pens - these girls normally live outside in the courtyard and have a combined size of 20ft to play and live in but due to this horrible weather I made the decision to bring everyone from the outside courtyard to indoors until these 2 storms pass to keep them all calm and safe but they are all going back out tomorrow (with covers on of course)

All piggies in the 2 sheds are all doing great and the storm did not affect them - I can’t wait to move and have our new shed built - it’s going to be amazing to have everyone together in one huge shed with our own show prep room 😁

Ps - the radiator is turned off 😉

*Special Announcement*

As many of you may already know we are on the move!

The house is being packed up, the hutches are ready to be moved and the piggies are all packing their suitcases!
The current 2 sheds will be cleared closer to our moving date but initially when we first move all piggies will go into the conservatory & sheds currently at the new house and will stay there until the new Cavy Manor is built ~ it’s so exciting 😁

Boarding here is now closed as we prepare for our final show of the year next weekend ~ the show teams are being prepped and mum and I will head off on Friday ready for the show on Saturday.

We have received a lot of enquiries for pups - we do not breed over the summer sorry, we have had to delay our Autumn pairing due to the move but we have pairing schedules prepared for as soon as we arrive with new arrivals due in early 2027 🩷💙

Bookings for boarding are now open for February 2027 onwards, we are all so sad that we won’t get to cuddle our regular guests anymore but we look forward to receiving photos and updates and we are super excited about what the future holds in Wales for Compton Cavies

Lots of love

Goldie & Liquorice have come to stay for a little holiday - we love seeing how our pups are doing as they grow up and having these 2 back here for a stay is lovely 🥰

Goldie & Manny are having a lovely holiday with us, the girls have been regulars since our boarding hutches opened.

We will miss not seeing them when we move.

My Handsome Ollof is officially entering his Retirement today.

I was going to show him one last time at the Real London Show but he deserves the best and as all my piggies are my pets before showing/breeding I want his amazing show career to end on a high! 🏆 🏵️
I am so proud of his achievements, joining my team in March 2025 Oloff has gone from strength to strength and entertaining everyone especially the judges in the process.

He will now live out his life here with me and my other amazing piggies eating as much veggies as he likes - he was my first Chocolate Himalayan and I can’t wait for our next breeding window as I have quite a few now with lots of pairing opportunities 🥰
