Hello everyone,

We at Four Legs Good: 1-1 Dog Walking have some recurring timeslots available at the moment!

If you'd like to have your dog taken care of by us, to break up their day while you work or to burn off some of their endless energy, we'd be happy to hear from you.

We only take out one household's dog(s) at a time. This way you can be sure that your pet is being looked after properly, with them getting the 1-1 care and attention they deserve. You won't see us dragged down the road by a whole pack!

Our prices are £10 for 30 minutes and £15 per hour. Follow our page or get in touch today if you'd like to find out more about us.

You can book in with Four Legs Good! We'll go out and be miserable for you, while you stay at home cosy and warm.

The summer holidays are here and will be full of beautiful days to fill with great activities - including walks with four-legged friends!

Just today, we were out for a walk in the sun at the Fleet in . Being there was wonderful - but it also made me think about how with the heat we're now getting, we should all remember the doggy-dos and don'ts for high temperatures.

-

1. Do walk your dog at cooler times of day - early in the morning or late in the evening. If you have to go out together in hot weather, do avoid hot tarmac and concrete surfaces. Shaded, grassy areas will be less likely to hurt your dog's paws and walks near running water will have cooler air for your pet to enjoy.

2. Do take extra care with flat-faced, overweight, unwell and older dogs. All of these have an increased risk of heatstroke.

3. Do provide your dog with extra shade, ventilation and water at home throughout the day. We suggest using fans and paddling pools to help them too.

4. Don't leave your dog in the car (even with the window down).

5. Do remain aware of the signs of heatstroke in dogs. These are heavy panting, drowsiness, excessive drooling, diarrhoea, vomiting, and collapsing. If you think your pet is exhibiting these signs: move them into the shade, offer them drinking water, soak their body with cold water (avoiding their face), and contact a vet.

6. And, finally, do contact us if you would like to adjust your regular slot to an early morning or late evening over the coming weeks to avoid the heat.

-

We hope you all have a happy, safe summertime and we look forward to continuing to see your dogs whenever it's sensible to do so!

Good morning ! Here's a reminder that while not all good dogs are slobber-dogs, all slobber-dogs are good dogs. 🐾🐾
