Angel rabbit rescue

First time in two weeks we have turned off 5 fans and an air conditioning unit, as its a much cooler day with a lovely breeze to help keep the rabbits cooler in their accommodation. Might need it later though.

Still got cool pads, cold tiles, frozen bottles etc.
Electric bill will be interesting.

Whilst volunteers were busy cleaning Magic a very stunning rex found the stash of greens and decided to help herself.( of course under supervision)
Magic is an active 2 to 3 year old girl that enjoys company. It is hard to believe she is still looking for her forever home. If interested please contact the rescue.

This little girl is 2 and a half, she is incredibly inquisitive, loves people and enjoys exploring. With her inquisitive nature Muffin will need to free roam as an indoor rabbit. She is looking for her forever home with a lovebun. If you feel you can offer her a loving home please contact the rescue.

Owning rabbits for 20 years doesn’t automatically mean you’ve been caring for them correctly for 20 years.

Animal welfare evolves. We learn more, research improves, and what was considered “good care” years ago isn’t always what’s best today.

Many of us were told hutches were suitable, muesli was a healthy diet, rabbits were happy living alone, or that they didn’t need vaccinations. We now know that’s simply not true.

The best rabbit owners aren’t the ones who’ve owned rabbits the longest. They’re the ones who are willing to learn, adapt, and change when new evidence tells us we can do better.

There’s nothing wrong with saying, “I didn’t know then, but I do now.”

Our rabbits deserve for us to keep learning, because they rely on us to make the right choices for them.

To keep our furry guests cool, and in the manor to which they have become accustomed, we have 5 fans and an air conditioning unit in the rabbit area.
Alongside frozen water bottles.

The turkeys have our fan out of our house, and we are baking in the heat.

Photo of the lovely spearmint because he is so adorable.
But please be extra careful to protect any white and rew animals as they are more likely to suffer in the heat.
Even get sun burnt.

Send us photos of your cool buns we would love to see them.
