Our Fleece Show is once again returning to the Dorset County Alpaca Show as part of the Dorset County Show on 5th and 6th September. With shearing a priority for many breeders at the moment, why not plan your fleece entries for this fabulous show! This is a great way to get a detailed evaluation of your fleece from our experienced Judge, Mr Nick Harrington Smith. Fleeces will be judged live on Saturday 5th September with public access to watch the judging in progress, providing an excellent opportunity to see a fleece show in action and get live feedback about the fleeces on show and what the judge is looking for. Fleece Show entries open 1st July and close 10th August and can be made on the BAS website via 'Show Entries' on Grassroots.

A huge congratulations to Wolfridge Alpacas on winning the Most Successful Small Breeder award at the 2026 British Alpaca Society National Show.

It’s amazing to have such a depth of success across multiple classes at their first ever time exhibiting at this level.

We are honoured to have been there at the start of their alpaca journey and look forward to working with them to develop their herd of black alpacas further.

Congratulations to all at Wolfridge Alpacas. 🏆

Wow! What a weekend!
We were absolutely buzzing to have all 8 we took placed: 2nd - Sibillini & Fraser Junior; 3rd - Rubin, Flossie & Lyra; 4th - Faith & Fern; 6th - First

THEN we were awarded Champion Small Breeder;

Our incredible show results would not have been possible without our awesome volunteers Nic & Mick, we really cannot thank them enough.

Big shout out to the brilliant Barn Team for serving our lovely visitors all weekend. Also thank you to those taking care of the alpacas, chickens and gerbils(!) whilst we were away.

This is an amazing opportunity. Hats off to Harley and Paul 👏🏻

Inca Replay - Supreme Champion

**One drive by stud service up for auction**

Co-owned by Chinchero Alpacas

Solid True Black Sire
- EEa2a2 (Futuregen)
- Follicle Density of 62.0/mm2 (Skin Imprint)

- Available on the BAS National Show Stud Auction which closes at 8pm this Sunday.

Inca Replay is the result of many years of selective breeding here at Inca. His sire Inca Lewesdon provided great density, length and stature and has sired many champions including at the BAS National Show.

His dam is Inca Leading Light who is one of our top five females and not only has won championships herself but has produced progeny that have won championships and been consistent high fibre performers.

Inca Replay is a strong and well build male who offers such a predictable and on trend phenotype to his progeny and he passes on a very dense, long and bright fleece. All of his progeny are extremely similer, the most similar we have ever seen in our herd and many will feature in the shows this spring.

Auction closes at 8pm Sunday, so don't miss out!

Inca Optimo

Solid Black Sire
- Eeaa (Futuregen)
- Follicle Density of 72.8/mm2 (Skin Imprint)

- Available on the BAS National Show Stud Auction which closes at 8pm tonight.

This sire has been bred from two industry leading parents in Snowmass Bronze Royalty and Inca Incognito (2 x Supreme Champion) and is unrelated to the majority of blacks in the UK. Inca Optimo offers the next generation of black breeding with impeccable conformation and extreme fleece density.

In the first year of showing his progeny, his son Inca Tivoli was awarded Champion Black Male Huacaya and his daughter Inca Tenacity was awarded Reserve Champion Black Female Huacaya at the 2025 BAS National Show.

His progeny show uniformity in their phenotype and are calm natured. This line also appears to be quite tolerant to internal parasites such as Barbers Pole.

Normal Drive By Price is £1000 with no discounts.

Auction closes at 8pm tonight so don't miss out!
