It is with deep sadness to have to inform everyone that Andrew Cartlidge, owner of the kennels, has passed away peacefully at home on the 24th March 2023 with his wife and dog by his side. Ad Astra Kennels and Cattery which was his life's work and passion will now be run by Anna, his wife. Please make all enquiries and bookings via telephone: 01405 814452. It will no longer be possible to take email bookings.

Advance notice for everyone.
We will be closed on May 6th 2023 ... the date of the coronation of King Charles 111 ... apologies for any inconvenience this may cause anyone in planning bringing or collecting pets on that day.
We will, of course, be taking care of all pets here on that day, just as we do every year for Christmas and New Year

We have three large paddocks where dogs safely play three times every day. The fence is high with concrete underneath, so no chance of digging out and all floodlit for the dark evenings

We have held this off till after the summer holidays, but due to the increasing cost of petfood, electricity ... virtually everything .... we have to increase our prices from 1st October

Just spent much of the day watching the funeral of Her Majesty. Advance warning to everyone ... we will be closed for the day of the coronation Of King Charles.
The Queen loved her cardigan corgis throughout her life ... here are a few pictures.
