Hello to all you fellow proud pet parents! My name is Jan and I offer Doggy Day Care in the comfort of my own home in the village of High Melton, Doncaster. Myself and my family have over thirty years experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and personalities. I'm a p

roud dog Mummy and dog Nanny and I am lucky enough to live in a home with beautiful acres of land that my children have always called 'doggy heaven'. I have dedicated my life to looking after my furry family and now I would like to open my home and share it with your dogs too. All of your pets will be treated with; love and care, plenty of snuggles and lots of kisses here at Shellbrooke Doggy Day Care. We cannot wait to welcome you and your furry loved one to our family. We are set for some hot weather this week, so please ensure we are thinking of our fur babies in these high temperatures๐Ÿฅต

โ›”๏ธ Do not walk your dog in high temperatures
โ›”๏ธ If the pavement is too hot for your hand for more than a few seconds, it is too hot for their paws ๐Ÿพ
โ›”๏ธ Do not leave your dog in a car
โ›”๏ธ Ensure your dog does not spend long periods out in the sun
โ›”๏ธ No activities/exercises in hot weather

โ•PLEASE ENSUREโ•

โœ… Provide your dog with a cool and shaded area
โœ… Keep them hydrated and offer water regularly
โœ… Use a cool coat or cool mat
โœ… Set up a fan
โœ… Soak their fur coat with water or a dip in paddling pool
โœ… Be aware of heat stroke signs
โœ… Contact your vet if you are worried
