2/3s of the Silver team took to the local park to test their sniffing skills this week

We had ducks, peacocks, people, dogs, footballs - distraction central!!

Yet Lottie & Ella smashed it and found all of their hides 💪

The Silver team are being pushed and tested with their skills ready for their demo in July 💪

Here they are searching the local pub garden, complete with some lovely food smells from the pub kitchen, distractions from the on site dog, and even a couple of audience members 😅

Absolutely nothing is fazing these dogs so far, as soon as they hear that “Search!” cue, they’re locked in and determined 💪

Our Silver Sniffers levelled up their game this week with a trip out to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park to search around The Hive

We’ve been focusing on distractions for their upcoming scentwork demo. Well, we had plenty of distractions!

• People, plenty of people!
• Smells from the restaurants
• Scents from all of the people that had or were walking past our search area
• Smokers and va**rs in the area
• WIND 😒

Despite all of that, all 3 of the team absolutely smashed their searches and delivered strong indications, putting on quite a show for the onlookers 😉

Oh, I did forget one distraction…
Me dropping my ENTIRE box of Kong pieces (our target odour of the day) right next to the search area 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

But that still didn’t put them off finding the real target 💪
