I would like to just take a moment to wish a heavenly birthday to a very special man.
A man who taught me what is was to love all animals, to look after animals and taught me the names of birds and butterflies. The man who taught me that family was everything.
The amazing man who together with my beautiful Nan gave me the best childhood a girl could wish for.

At Country Pet Cremations, we are incredibly proud to be one of the very few pet cremation services in the whole of the UK to offer not one, but two peaceful and calming spaces where families can spend precious final moments with their beloved companion.

💜 Our serene private lakeside setting – offering the tranquillity of nature for those who wish to say goodbye surrounded by peace and birdsong.

We are also honoured to work alongside the exceptional Dr Paul Gunning of Home to Rest who, together with his lovely wife Abi Gunning (owners of
Vets4Pets Gravesend ), is our dedicated visiting veterinarian. Dr Paul comes directly to us, allowing families to have the entire process cared for in one compassionate location. Alternatively, if you prefer, he can also visit your home, giving your beloved pet a peaceful farewell in familiar surroundings.

WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES AND WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

When we welcome a pet into our lives, they become family. ❤️

None of us like to think about the day we may have to say goodbye, but knowing there is somewhere that will care for both you and your beloved companion with kindness, dignity and compassion can bring a little comfort during such a difficult time.

At Country Pet Cremations, we offer peaceful euthanasia appointments in our private Family Room, beside our tranquil private lake, or in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to choose the setting that feels right for your family.

We work closely alongside Dr Paul Gunning, an exceptional and compassionate veterinary surgeon who runs Vets4Pets Gravesend with his lovely wife, Abi. Together they also provide Home to Rest, the caring home euthanasia service that we use for both our own premises and home visits around Kent.

If you choose a home euthanasia, we can gently collect your beloved companion from your home with the utmost care and dignity, or you are welcome to bring them to us afterwards, where you can spend as much time as you need together in our Family Room.

We also provide respectful collections from veterinary practices across Kent.

Many families have chosen for us to collect their pet directly from their veterinary practice or home, as they understandably didn’t feel able to make that journey themselves immediately after saying goodbye. Instead, they have come straight to us to spend quiet, private time with their companion in our Family Room, which has been thoughtfully designed to resemble a peaceful chapel of rest for animals. This is always an option available to our families.

As an individual cremation service, every pet entrusted to our care is cremated individually with love and respect. We also offer a beautiful range of memorial keepsakes, including bespoke ash jewellery, allowing you to keep your companion close forever.

With every individual cremation service, you will receive:

I loved her like she was my own and because my wonderful grandparents home was like my second home I always classed her as my dog.
I will always remember the day my grandad came home from the vets with her and I could see the tears in his eyes. She had gone.
It was the first time I ever saw my grandad cry bless him.
I was only little and I remember being so heartbroken.
looking at her blanket I gathered some of her fur and put it in a ring box which I still have to this very day 💜🐾🌈
