This is Willa.

Willa came for her first groom with me today.

Her Mum was worried she might be a little bit grumpy about having her hair done, but she was such a good girl about everything.

We worked from the floor and I used the table at the lowest level, which meant I could use no restraints safely. Willa much prefers this, it helps her to feel safe, and free to move.

As groomers unless working from the floor, restraints have to be used, because if a dog jumped from our grooming tables up high, down onto the floor, they could really hurt themselves.

Can anyone guess the four breeds that make the beautiful Willa? 🥰

She is amazing and I’m looking forward to seeing her again soon, xx

I managed to clip off lots of fur this time for a shorter summer style.

Still working on building confidence with being groomed especially around their little faces.

So this afternoon I had the total pleasure of grooming Millie, who is currently in foster care.

Millie will be looking for a forever home soon and is under the overall care of Second Chance Spaniel Rescue.

We are not sure of Millie’s past grooming experience’s but she aced it!
