I have bought and tried many dog leads over the years in search of my favourite go-to that combined practical, style and longevity. It’s just a dog lead, right??!! So why the fuss! Maybe I am fussy but I didn’t want anything pretty or fashionable. No fancy metal bits to get your fingers stuck or fiddly clasps. I didn’t want rope burns or slippery material and wanted to feel in control.

So I set about making my own set from super soft air webbing and two years on they’re still my go-to leads for every day walks!

Solid brass hardware is important for strength and longevity. In our standard 150cm lead I have added a concealed close control handle (not one the loops out and gets in the way!)

I also add knots for hold points or shorten the length so super versatile.
