LONG BUT IMPORTANT POST PLEASE READ

CHANGES TO THE WAY I HANDLE BOOKINGS

Good afternoon, firstly I have a confession to make... Apologies for not getting back to anyone but I have had my work phone switched off for the past few weeks and the truth is, it's because I have hit complete burnout 😢

A few months ago I started to have Thursdays off in order to have a day to rest, and in order to do that I worked later the other days to make up for having the Thursdays off. Before I knew it I found myself not only working later but also opening up Thursdays for those that left appointments till last minute.

So iv been thinking of ways to make things easier.

I know that for the past 9 years iv always asked people to text me because missed calls can get forgotten about but I'm getting messages from 7am until 11:30pm and it's all getting a bit much 😩

So, as of next week I will be finishing work at 3pm monday- Friday. All bookings must be made either online (preferably as this is what I introduced online booking for) or phonecall - I know it will take some adjusting to as we're all used to texting but my brain just can't multitask how it used to anymore. If you need to ring for an appointment I will only be able to accept calls between 3pm and 5pm as when I'm working all my focus needs to be on the dogs I have in for grooming. Please don't ring me over and over again if I don't answer, as I will probably be on another call. I will ring everyone back in the order that I was contacted.

As much as I love my job and appreciate every single one of you that trust me with your pets its a very physically and mentally tiring job and I don't want to lose my focus due to exhaustion. So with this I have also decided to make the decision not to groom large breeds anymore as I am just so exhausted my body struggles now but I will continue to groom the ones I already do 🙂

I am currently on holiday and will not be contactable until I return on the evening of the 14th and straight back to work on the 15th. Any nail trims etc can still be done in this time as Carly and Rosie are still in the salon.

☀️ Morning all! ☀️

It's that time of year again where I'm filling really quick!

I only have 2 appointments available in May which is 9am on the 1st and 1:30 on the 5th (these spaces are for small dogs only). After that my next 1 is June.

I have absolutely zero wriggle room in this time as my days are booked back to back without even a toilet break...

Quickest way to get your appointment is to book online as I'm just too busy to do anything at the moment.
