Scone Game Fair 2026 - Open AV
Photos can tell you a million stories but not always the right one.
We qualified this year early in the season. 1 of the 2 goldens that made an appearance this year in the Open on the Sunday. The other was Tonic handled by my good friend Jill Gardner
Tain and I really didn't really have the right focus on the Sunday at Scone and though we had some good retrieves, we also had some bad ones - such is life,
However, I do love this dog. Tain really is the most beautiful Golden that shows a lot of golden va va boom, pace and style and I am very proud to own him,
Not our day on this day but proud to be one of the 2 goldens that ran in this wonderful event.

Today we ventured out to The Sutherland Gundog Club for the final Working Test of the year here in the Highlands.
Pleased to say both dogs ran well with Tain taking 2nd place. We lost the run off by a very small margin to Mitch Collier (Congratulations Mitch). But after a disappointing Working Test season I was thrilled with Tains performance today.
Beanie also did a good job taking 5th place.

Tain also took 2nd place in the best looking (though I clearly think he is the most handsome of all 🤣)

Thank you to the club, committee, the judges and helpers and also the sponsors. Always a lovely day out.

Well done to Mitch and to Martin Polson for his 3rd.

Laggan managed a 2nd in a puppy test today.
I like to do puppy tests to expose them to different areas but always mindful to think about their training rather than scores at this age.
He is a pretty cool puppy 🤎🤎
